Reachtruck driver

As a Junior Reachtruck Driver, you are a crucial link in the logistics process of this modern warehouse in Waddinxveen. Together with your colleagues, you make sure the daily flow of goods runs smoothly. You drive the reachtruck through the warehouse, placing products safely and neatly in their assigned spots. You’ll work with well-known brands from the food sector and help prepare orders for supermarkets and hospitality clients on time. You’ll have plenty of contact with your team and work in a dynamic environment where quality and safety always come first. Your tasks include:

• Operating the reachtruck and safely transporting pallets
• Checking inventories and reporting discrepancies
• Assisting with order picking
• Keeping your workspace clean and tidy
• Working closely with members of the logistics team
• Reporting special circumstances to the team leader You’ll work in two shifts: the morning shift is from 05:45 to 14:45 and the evening shift from 15:15 to 00:15. This is a full-time job, averaging 32 to 40 hours per week.

• At least a vmbo (pre-vocational secondary education) level of working and thinking
• At least 1 year of experience as a reachtruck driver, warehouse worker, or logistics employee
• In possession of a reachtruck certificate or willing to obtain one
• You speak good Dutch or English
• You live within 30 kilometers of Waddinxveen
• You are flexible and available for two shifts
• You work accurately and have a strong sense of responsibility

• Salary of € 16.87 gross per hour including shift and ADV allowances
• Travel allowance of € 0.23 per kilometer from 10 kilometers up to a maximum of 50 kilometers
