Full-time Warehouse Worker in Ridderkerk

As a Warehouse Worker at Van Gelder Fruit & Vegetables, you’ll work in the heart of logistics for fresh vegetables and fruit. Your day starts among the scent of fresh products, where you and your colleagues make sure supermarkets and hospitality businesses get their orders on time. Your tasks vary: one day, you are lifting crates and stacking them on pallets, the next day you are packaging ready-to-eat salads following clear instructions. Sometimes you use sharp tools, such as knives or cutting machines, so safety is always a top priority. You also keep your workspace clean and tidy so everything stays hygienic and organized. You’ll work in a chilled environment of about 7°C, so it’s important you are comfortable with that. Workdays are during the week and on weekends, with varying shifts, including evenings and nights. You’ll join your team full-time, ensuring fresh products reach tables every day.

• You have communicative knowledge of Dutch or English
• You are available full-time (38-45 hours per week)
• You can work in a cold environment (approximately 7°C)
• You accurately follow hygiene and safety guidelines
• Preferably, you have experience as a warehouse worker, logistics employee, order picker, or production worker
• You live within 50 km of Ridderkerk
• You have VMBO-level working and thinking skills
