Experienced Production Worker – Fresh Produce Sector Ridderkerk

As a Production Worker, you are responsible for processing fresh vegetables and fruit every day. You make sure everything is ready and prepared in time for shipping to customers. You’ll work in a clean, modern production environment where hygiene and quality come first. Your tasks include:

• Processing raw vegetables and fruit, such as peeling and removing seeds
• Cutting vegetables and fruit by hand and by machine
• Carefully packing and repacking products
• Finishing off (meal) salads and other dishes on the production line
• Filling containers by hand according to instructions
• Checking the correct weight and stickers on products
• Making sure the packaging is properly closed
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of machines and tools You work Monday through Saturday, with two days off each week. You work two Saturdays per month. Working hours are between 06:00 and 17:00, depending on your start time. You work day shifts and enjoy a flexible 5-day workweek.

• You have at least an mbo (secondary vocational education) working and thinking level
• Preferably, you have experience as a production worker, operator, packer, or a similar role
• You are available at least 38 hours per week and are willing to work some Saturdays
• You live within 30 km of Ridderkerk
• You speak and understand Dutch or English sufficiently
• You work accurately and can handle hygiene regulations well
• You are physically fit and can do standing work for long periods
