Production Planner – Food Industry – Brielle

As a Production Planner in the food production industry, you play a central role in organizing the daily workflow for fresh-cut vegetables. You’ll be part of a close team of four, ensuring that every production day runs efficiently from start to finish. Your main responsibility is to create realistic and efficient schedules for both the current and next production day. You act as the crucial link between purchasing, production, and logistics, always processing forecasts and providing accurate information to all departments. Your attention to detail and sharp planning skills help keep the production process running smoothly.

• Drafting daily and next-day production schedules for fresh-cut vegetables
• Coordinating and communicating between purchasing, production, and logistics departments
• Processing forecasts and translating them into clear, actionable plans
• Monitoring production flow and adjusting schedules as needed during busy periods
• Keeping the team informed and up-to-date with any changes
• Working both independently and collaboratively within your team
• Shifts are in day service (07:00 – 15:30) and evening service (11:00 – 19:30), with some weekend shifts on a rotating basis

• Minimum MBO+ working and thinking level
• Solid experience and strong skills with Excel
• At least 1 year of experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role such as Production Scheduler or Planning Coordinator
• Experience in the food industry is an advantage
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ambitious and eager to develop yourself and grow with the company
