Freight Forwarder Expediteur

As a Freight Forwarder Expediteur in Schiphol-Rijk, you play a central role in the export process for air freight shipments. Each day, you ensure shipments are coordinated efficiently and reach their destination on time. You’ll spend your time in a modern logistics warehouse, working closely with airlines, handling agents, and customers to ensure smooth operations. Your main responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and processing air freight export shipments
• Maintaining daily contact with customers, airlines, and handling agents to keep everyone informed
• Preparing and checking export and customs documents such as Air Waybills (AWB)
• Monitoring tight deadlines and taking immediate action when operational challenges arise
• Solving problems proactively to avoid shipment delays

You’ll work full-time, from Monday to Friday, during regular business hours. Occasionally, flexibility may be needed based on shipment schedules.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Freight Forwarder Expediteur, Airfreight Export Specialist, or similar logistics role
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in Dutch or English
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately and proactively under pressure
• Solid experience preparing export and customs documents
• Comfortable using logistics and freight management software
• MBO or HBO working and thinking level
