Full-time Warehouse Worker Fruit & Vegetables Ridderkerk

As a warehouse worker at Van Gelder Fruit & Vegetables, you and your team ensure a smooth logistics process for fresh products. Every day, you’ll work in a clean, cooled warehouse environment, using your hands and contributing to the production of healthy, tasty salads. Your tasks are varied and require accuracy and teamwork. Your day will include:

• Lifting boxes and stacking them on pallets
• Handling sharp objects safely, such as chopping knives and cutting machines
• Packing ready-made salads according to clear instructions
• Keeping your work area and the production space clean and tidy You work full-time, with different shifts during the week and on weekends. Working hours are flexible and you receive bonuses for evening and night shifts. The work is physical and takes place at a temperature of around 7°C.

• Communicative knowledge of Dutch or English
• Full-time availability (38 to 45 hours per week)
• Willingness to work in a cooled environment of about 7°C
• Able to follow instructions and safety rules well
• Minimum of vmbo (pre-vocational secondary) working and thinking level
• Experience as a warehouse worker, order picker, logistics worker, or production worker is a plus
