Machine Operator (Giessen)

As a Machine Operator in Giessen, you’ll play an essential role in the production process. You’ll operate and monitor modern packaging machines, making sure every product meets the highest quality standards. In this dynamic environment, you’ll be responsible for keeping the production line running smoothly, performing basic maintenance, and solving any technical issues that come up.Your main tasks include:Operating and monitoring packaging machines safely and efficientlyPerforming quality checks to maintain product standardsCarrying out routine maintenance and troubleshootingEnsuring a clean and safe working environmentThis is a full-time role organized in a 3-shift rotation (Monday to Friday):Morning shift: 06:00 – 14:45Afternoon shift: 14:00 – 22:45Night shift: 22:00 – 06:45Occasional weekend work may be required with extra pay for those shifts.

Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in the food industrySkilled in operating and troubleshooting packaging machineryGood command of spoken English or DutchA practical mindset, accuracy, and efficiency in a busy environment

Base salary: starting from €15.65 per hour, depending on experience, up to €15.97 per hourShift allowance:+14% for 2-shift schedule → €17.85 – €18.21 per hour+19% for 3-shift schedule → €18.63 – €19.00 per hourWeekend & holiday pay:+30% for Saturday shifts → €20.35 – €20.76 per hour+100% for public holidays → €31.30 – €31.94 per hourVacation allowance: 8%
