As an order picker, you are responsible for collecting and preparing orders in the warehouse. You do this using a scanner. You are in regular contact with colleagues and suppliers — often in English — to ensure that all orders are complete and ready on time for delivery to seagoing vessels in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Your work is varied and you contribute directly to the success of the team. Sometimes it gets a little busier, and you don't mind working an extra hour to get the job done properly.
Working days and hours: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including a 60-minute break.
The company is an international supplier to the shipping industry, with a modern warehouse in Europoort Rotterdam. From here, seagoing vessels are supplied with food, technical materials and tools. Think of it as a combination of a supermarket and a DIY store, but specifically for ships.
There is a pleasant, informal working atmosphere with a great deal of mutual respect. You will be part of a permanent team of 12 warehouse employees of 8 different nationalities. Collegiality, humour and teamwork are central here.
