Crossdock Loading Worker - ID Logistics

As a Crossdock Loading Worker at ID Logistics, you are responsible for preparing and loading shipments according to the loading list. You make sure that all goods are loaded correctly, safely and without damage. Before loading, you check whether the trailer or box truck is clean, dry and suitable for the goods. During the loading process, you scan the loading list, dock, trailer and shipment in the correct order. All outgoing goods must also be scanned. 

Your main tasks include:

• Loading shipments according to the loading list
• Scanning goods and shipments
• Checking the trailer before loading
• Keeping shipments together and complete
• Securing goods properly to prevent damage during transport
• Checking whether different types of goods can be transported together safely
• Reporting missing or damaged goods to the team leader
• Following handling labels and additional loading instructions
• Making sure the loading list is correctly completed after loading

The work involves different types of goods. Some products require extra attention during loading. For example, radiators must be placed correctly on pallets, roll containers and heat pumps must be secured with straps, and other goods may not be stacked on top of solar panels.

• Previous experience with an EPT and heftruck
• You are physically fit and comfortable with active work
• You are open to working overtime when needed
• You should be able to communicate in English
• You must be willing to work in a 3-shift system
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to the shift schedule are required
• EU citizenship or a valid Dutch work permit is required

• Gross hourly wage: €14.99
• Afternoon/evening shift: 135%
• Night shift: 145%
