Seed Processing Operator

As a Seed Processing Operator, you are responsible for the correct and efficient processing of different seed batches. You will use the appropriate cleaning, disinfection and upgrading methods. During the process, you will closely monitor the quality of the seeds and identify any deviations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Using the correct cleaning, disinfection and upgrading methods to process seed batches as efficiently as possible.
• Identifying deviations related to seed quality and taking a proactive approach to finding suitable solutions.
• Adjusting and fine-tuning specialized equipment according to work instructions.
• Taking samples from processed seed batches.
• Recording batch characteristics of seed lots.
• Performing a Physical Appearance assessment of the seeds.
• Determining moisture content and Thousand Seed Weight.

• You work accurately and have an eye for detail.
• You are technically minded and interested in working with specialized equipment.
• You can work independently and follow work instructions.
• You are quality-oriented and able to identify deviations in time.
• You are willing to learn new tasks and processes.
• Experience in seed processing, production or a similar position is an advantage.
• You are motivated and have a proactive attitude.

• A gross hourly wage of €16.63.
