Experienced Production Worker Fresh Produce Ridderkerk

As a Production Worker at Van Gelder Groente & Fruit, you’ll work daily with the finest fresh vegetables and fruit in a modern production environment in Ridderkerk. You are the key player in processes like peeling, cutting, and packaging produce. No day is the same: one moment you’re slicing peppers by hand, the next you’re checking if the sticker on a salad container is correct. You’ll work alongside colleagues on the production line, ensuring everything happens according to the highest quality standards. Keeping your workplace and machinery clean and well-maintained is also part of your day.

• Peel, remove seeds, and cut vegetables and fruit
• Pack and repack fresh products
• Finish (meal) salads and dishes on the conveyor belt
• Manually fill containers according to instructions
• Check weights, stickers, and closures on products
• Clean and maintain machines and tools daily You’ll work weekdays and two Saturdays per month. The workweek consists of 5 days, with starting times between 06:00 and 08:00 and ending times between 16:00 and 17:00, giving you a flexible schedule with two days off each week.

• You have at least a secondary vocational (MBO) working and thinking level
• Preferably, you have experience as a production worker, packer, operator, or in the food industry (0-1 year of experience is sufficient)
• You live no more than 30 kilometers from Ridderkerk
• You speak and understand Dutch or English
• You work accurately and hygienically
• You are flexible and don’t mind working some Saturdays
• You are a team player
