Maintenance Technician – Textile Warehouse (Lelystad)

As a Maintenance Technician at the textile warehouse in Lelystad, you play a vital part in ensuring the seamless operation of all warehouse and production equipment. Your daily tasks will involve hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, all within a busy warehouse and production environment. You'll work closely with both production and technical teams to support ongoing operations and minimize downtime.

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults quickly to keep production moving
• Plan maintenance activities in coordination with production schedules
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Report technical issues and maintenance work to relevant managers
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize processes

You will work full-time, typically 38 to 40 hours per week. Shifts are generally during standard business hours, but occasional flexibility may be needed for urgent repairs or planned maintenance.

• At least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance, such as Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or Technical Service Engineer
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical problems
• Experience with textile industry machinery is preferred
• Knowledge of equipment like industrial ironing tunnels (VEIT, Indupress, Macpi), packing machines (Polypack, Viapack), and conveyor lines is an advantage
• Basic English communication skills
• Proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and team-oriented mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in technical subjects
