Entry Level Recycling/Leftovers Sorting Worker – Logistics Sector Waddinxveen

As a Recycling/leftovers sorting worker, you play a key role in the recycling process within a modern distribution center. Your daily work involves sorting and separating different types of materials, including plastics, metals, and cardboard, ensuring everything ends up in the right place. You’ll use basic tools and follow clear instructions so that recyclable materials are handled properly and efficiently. The work environment is clean, organized, and safety-focused, with a friendly atmosphere where everyone works together toward a common goal. You’ll be on your feet, moving around the sorting area, and sometimes lifting light to medium-weight items. Your main responsibilities include:

• Sorting recyclable materials and leftovers according to type
• Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety in the sorting area
• Identifying and removing non-recyclable items from the sorting line
• Reporting any issues or irregularities to your supervisor
• Working efficiently to meet daily sorting targets
• Keeping your work area organized and ready for the next shift
  You’ll work full-time, typically 38 to 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between Monday and Friday. Shift start and end times may vary but generally fall within standard daytime working hours.

• 0 to 1 year of experience in a similar role, such as warehouse worker, logistics assistant, or production worker
• Basic English speaking skills
• Ability to stand and move around for the duration of your shift
• Willingness to learn and follow clear safety procedures
