Delivery Driver – Albert Heijn | Full-Time | Barendrecht

As a Delivery Driver at Albert Heijn, you are responsible for delivering online grocery orders to customers at home or at their workplace, always on time and with excellent service. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive delivery team that represents the Albert Heijn brand on the road and at customers' doorsteps.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver Albert Heijn online grocery orders to customers.
• Process payments at the door when customers choose to pay upon delivery.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with their orders and overall delivery experience.
• Act as a friendly and professional ambassador for Albert Heijn.

During your route, you’ll have time for a friendly chat with customers, and every day you’ll drive a different route. That variety is exactly what makes this job so enjoyable.

You will work a minimum of 3 shifts per week and can choose between morning and evening shifts. A typical shift lasts around 6-7 hours.

Shift times:

• Morning shift: Between 06:00 and 15:00
• Evening shift: Between 15:00 and 23:00

We schedule your shifts based on your availability, making this an ideal job to combine with your studies or other commitments.

• A valid Category B driving licence.
• Availability to work 4 to 6 days per week, including one Saturday every two weeks.
• Good communication skills in either Dutch or English.
• A customer-focused attitude and a passion for providing great service.

• Gross hourly salary of €16.22, including an 8.1% ADV allowance (for employees aged 18 and over).
• After 13 weeks of employment, an additional year-end bonus of 3.46% for every hour worked.
• Travel allowance of up to €0.23 per kilometre (up to 45 km from your work location).
• 8.33% holiday allowance and a pension scheme.
