Full-time Warehouse Worker Fresh Produce Ridderkerk

As a Warehouse Worker at Van Gelder Fruit & Vegetables in Ridderkerk, you’ll be responsible for handling and preparing fresh produce for the foodservice industry. You’ll work in a modern, refrigerated facility (around 7°C) as part of a close-knit team. Your daily tasks include:

• Lifting boxes of fruit and vegetables and stacking them neatly on pallets
• Handling cutting knives and machines with care
• Packing pre-made salads according to instructions
• Keeping your workspace and the production area clean
• Checking products for quality and freshness
• Assisting with loading and unloading trucks
• Working together with your colleagues to reach daily targets

You’ll work full-time, mainly during weekdays with various shifts. Shift times are flexible, with premiums for evening, night, and weekend work. You’ll take part in a rotating schedule with input on your hours.

• Communicative command of Dutch or English
• Full-time availability (38-45 hours per week)
• Willingness to work in a cold environment (about 7°C)
• Able to safely use knives and machines
• Living within 50 km of Ridderkerk or have your own transportation
• Experience as a warehouse worker, order picker, or production worker is a plus
• Minimum VMBO-level education or similar (secondary vocational)

• Gross hourly wage from €14,71  plus attractive premiums (up to 200% on Sundays)
