Plant Breeding Worker Greenhouse Bleiswijk

As a Junior Plant Breeding Assistant, you will be involved in the daily breeding process of plants in a modern greenhouse environment. You support the selection and care of young plants, perform cross-pollination work, and keep records accurately. You will work together with a small team of specialists and follow strict procedures to achieve the best results. You will actively contribute to the development of new varieties and ensure everything runs according to plan. Your workplace is an advanced greenhouse where you work in a fresh and green setting.

• Perform cross-pollination work on various plant species
• Select, label, and care for young plants
• Accurately register data and results
• Support the team with various breeding activities
• Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety in the greenhouse

You will work Monday through Friday, usually between 07:00 and 16:00.

• VMBO working and thinking level (pre-vocational secondary education)
• Preferably 0 to 2 years of experience in greenhouse cultivation, production, or laboratory environments, for example as a production worker, breeding assistant, or greenhouse worker
• Careful and precise working attitude
• Affinity with plants and willingness to work in a greenhouse setting
• Good command of Dutch or English language

• Salary from € 15.09 up to € 18 per hour, depending on experience
• Travel allowance up to 30 km one way
