Pollinator - De Lier

As a Pollinator/Bestuiver, you will work with tomato, cucumber, and pepper plants in a modern greenhouse. Your main job is to help the plants grow and produce high-quality seeds. Your daily tasks include:

• Helping with the pollination of plants
• Gently vibrating tomato flowers (“trillen”) to support the pollination process
• Removing flower stamens from plants
• Using a tablet to register germination information
• Harvesting tomato, cucumber, and pepper seeds
• Checking the quality of seeds and plants
• Assisting with general greenhouse tasks and keeping the workplace clean
• Following hygiene and food safety rules inside the greenhouse

You will work from Monday to Friday, usually between 07:00 and 17:00, depending on the season and workload. The work takes place in a clean, professional, and friendly greenhouse environment.

• Communicative level of English or Dutch
• Motivation to learn pollination and greenhouse processes
• Experience in pollination or greenhouse work with vegetables or flowers is a plus
• Ability to work carefully and follow hygiene instructions
• Willingness to respect food safety rules (it is not allowed to bring products such as melons, watermelons, peppers, eggplants, tomatoes, zucchini, or cucumbers into the greenhouse)
• Own transportation to De Lier

• Salary of €16.19 gross per hour
