Seed Processor

In this role, you work on processing and optimizing seed batches. You use both manual methods and specialized machinery to improve and ensure seed quality. You report to the team leader and work closely with colleagues within Operations.

Tasks include:

• Applying cleaning, disinfection, and upgrading methods
• Identifying and resolving deviations in seed quality
• Setting up and fine-tuning specialized equipment according to work instructions
• Taking samples from processed seed batches
• Recording batch data
• Performing “Physical Appearance” assessments
• Determining moisture content and Thousand Seed Weight
• Carrying out drying and disinfection processes
• Interpreting quality data and linking it to processes

• MBO vocational education level or equivalent
• Forklift certificate
• Accurate, structured, and efficient working style
• Proactive attitude in identifying and solving quality issues
• Technical understanding of processes and equipment
• Ability to interpret quality measurements and data
• Physically able to perform heavier work
• Flexible (also deployable in other Operations departments)
• Willingness to work overtime and shift work during peak periods
