Crop Specialist (Horticulture) – Diverse & Hands-on Role

You will play a key role in developing and executing cultivation strategies, including preparing crop plans, monitoring climate conditions, and performing daily crop care activities. With your strong understanding of plant biology and environmental factors, you will continuously assess growth conditions and make adjustments where needed to achieve the best possible results.

The variety of crops and production processes makes this role highly dynamic, with changing tasks depending on the season. While the position is primarily weekday-based, you will occasionally participate in weekend shifts as part of the cultivation cycle.

• HBO degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong affinity with plants, biology, and climate control
• Ability to work independently and maintain overview
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to make adjustments when needed
• Flexible attitude towards working hours, including occasional weekends
• Knowledge of horticultural products is a plus (or willingness to learn)
• Living in the Voorne-Putten / Rozenburg region with own transportation
• Fluent in Dutch or English
