Aspirant Young Plant Grower

As a Junior / Aspirant Young Plant Grower, you will support the Grower in the daily care and cultivation of young plants. You will work according to established growing protocols, focusing on factors such as climate, irrigation, and plant health.

Your tasks include irrigation, fertilization, crop care, and monitoring plant health. You will identify diseases, pests, and irregularities and report them to the Grower. You will also assist in applying biological and chemical crop protection and ensure accurate registration of cultivation data.

In addition, you contribute to an efficient production process and a clean, safe working environment. You may also guide temporary workers in daily activities. Please note that this role may include weekend or on-call shifts.

• MBO-level (vocational) working and thinking level, preferably in horticulture
• Basic knowledge of plant cultivation or strong affinity with plants
• Spraying license or willingness to obtain one
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Basic computer skills
• Hands-on mentality and eager to learn
• Accurate and observant
• Flexible and willing to work irregular hours when needed
