Production Worker Fresh Produce Sector Ridderkerk

As a Production Worker, you work daily with fresh vegetables and fruit in a clean, modern production environment. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that products are of high quality and ready on time for delivery to the foodservice industry. No day is the same; you alternate different tasks and work in a day shift for a flexible workweek.

Your main responsibilities:

• Processing raw vegetables and fruit (such as peeling, removing seeds)
• Manually and/or mechanically cutting products
• Carefully packing and repacking vegetables and fruit
• Completing (meal) salads and other dishes on the production line
• Manually filling containers according to instructions and rules
• Checking the correct weight on the scale
• Checking stickers, dates, and proper sealing of products
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of machines and tools

You work from Monday to Saturday, with two days off each week. You work in day shifts, starting between 06:00 and 08:00 and ending between 16:00 and 17:00. You work two Saturdays per month in a fixed team.

• You have at least mbo working and thinking level
• Preferably, you have experience as a Production Worker, Packer, Operator, or Fresh Produce Worker
• You have a good command of Dutch or English
• You are willing to work day shifts and are fine with working two Saturdays a month
• You live within 30 kilometers of Ridderkerk
