Knife Technician

As a Knife and Machine Maintenance Technician at Hessing, you are the crucial link in keeping our cutting tools and machinery sharp, safe, and running smoothly. With your precision and technical expertise, you help ensure top-quality production in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

At this position you will:

• Keep knives, machines, and equipment working safely and smoothly
• Replace and maintain parts like blades, gears, belts, and bearings
• Share your technical knowledge with team members
• Tell supervisors when outside help is needed for repairs or sharpening
• Report problems clearly and alert the right people when issues arise

Our warehouses operate 24/7, so the working hours are as follows:

• 05:45 AM – 2:30 PM
• 1:45 PM – 10:30 PM
• 9:45 PM – 6:30 AM
• Sunday night shift: 6:00 PM – 2:45 AM (other nights: from 9:45 PM)

• Your proficient in dutch as well as english language
• Vocational education level (MBO) with technical understanding
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and following safety and quality procedures
• Able to work in rotating shifts and stay calm in a cool, fresh environment
• Stress-resistant, result-oriented, and proactive

• Competitive salary between €2846,92 and €33301,56 bruto per month - based on experience
• Travel allowance up to 30 km one way (maximum 12.60 € / daily)
