Mechatronic Technician in Sliedrecht

As a Mechatronic Technician, you are part of the Technical Department and work in a modern, highly automated production environment, where forging, bending, heat treatment, and assembly machines are central.

Your responsibility is to ensure the continuous reliable operation of the electrical and control systems of our production equipment.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

Maintenance and troubleshooting:

• Perform preventive and planned corrective maintenance on electrical and control components of the machines;
• Work with PLC systems, sensors, actuators, motors, safety circuits, and robotics;
• Analyze, solve, and document electrical faults;
• Inspect, test, and secure installations after maintenance or fault repair.

Control technology and optimization:

• Make adjustments to PLC programs and machine controls (where appropriate);
• Identify and implement improvements focused on reliability, safety, and efficiency;
• Support engineering in technical improvement projects.

Projects and collaboration:

• Supervise external parties and subcontractors within the electrical engineering field;
• Contribute to preventive maintenance actions and planned maintenance shutdowns;
• Advise the internal organization based on technical findings.

• Completed technical education at MBO 3/4 level in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar;
• Affinity with electrical systems, control technology, and industrial automation;
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, precise, and safety-conscious;
• Good command of English or Dutch;
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365;
• Willingness to further develop in mechatronics and automation;
• Enterprising, pragmatic, and flexible;
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system.
