Production Worker in the Fresh Produce Industry

As a production worker, you are responsible for processing fresh vegetables and fruits. You work meticulously to ensure quality remains at a high level. Your tasks are diverse, and no day is the same. Some of your responsibilities include:

• Processing raw vegetables and fruits (peeling, removing seeds, etc.)
• Manually and/or mechanically cutting vegetables and fruits
• Carefully packaging and repackaging products
• Completing (meal) salads and other dishes on the conveyor belt
• Manually filling containers according to instructions and/or regulations
• Checking the correct weight on the scale
• Checking the correct labels and dates on the products
• Ensuring products are properly sealed (or that the film is securely attached)
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of machines and tools

Your workdays are from Monday to Saturday, with two days off each week. This provides a flexible workweek of 5 days. You work a day shift with starting times between 06:00 and 08:00 and end times between 16:00 and 17:00.

• VMBO working and thinking level
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar position
• Experience working in a production environment is a plus
• Flexibility regarding working hours
• Good command of the Dutch language
